How long does the entire process take to complete for the different requests?
This depends on the approvers response time. It can even take a day to completion. However, if the System has operation level parameters installed and will send a reminder for a delayed requisition after a specified number of days (2 for most) and alert the requester and approver of the delay for action/ escalation.
Are there lead times for the requests to be submitted ? i.e. how long before the actual start date must requests be submitted prior?
Just like our internal processes require and save for emergency cases, a requisition should be submitted prior to the delivery/ action date. For example: a canteen request should be submitted for approval 3 – 5 days to date of service delivery.
Can I generate reports with edoc?
Yes. Edoc allows a user to view and print reports. A user can also export a folder and query results list data to Microsoft Excel for additional reporting flexibility.
Which document formats are accepted by the system for upload?
All document types are supported by the system. You can attach a document in MS word, Excel sheet, pdf, ppt etc
